Project
- I “Modalities for compensation
to the victims of crime in the light of position prevailing in
other countries so as to make it part of the criminal jurisprudence
in our country” has been sponsored by B.P.R. &
D. New Delhi. This Research Project is undertaken by - Shri.V.V.Lakshmi Narayan, I.P.S.(Maharashtra Cadre), DIG, C.B.I., Hyderabad. |
Project - II “Cost
of conduct of investigation” is sponsored by B.P.R.&D.

Objective
of the project is to identify human resourse cost, overhead cost
and its process cost during the course of investigation. Research Project at C.P.R, Pune are being conducted according to the guidelines of B.P.R & D. which are as follows: 1) The Title of the Project 2) Statement of the Problem 3) Overview of the literature 4) The conceptual framework 5) Research questions or hypotheses 6) Coverage 7) Method of data collection 8) Organisation infrastructure available to be utilised for the head wise study 9) Cost estimation. |

Project
- I “Development
of Nutritious dry rations to be consumed by Police Officers /
Staff without coking on long range patrols in Naxal affected districts” Our police staff / teams remain away from their bases for up to
5 days. Any cooking by them tends to expose their locations and
forces the teams to seek help of villagers in terms of utensils

- II “To develop carry bags / 'Pithoos'
with appropriate belts for Police Officers / Men to carry weapons
& equipments like walkie – talkie, GPS, Binoculars ect.
along with water bottles” The teams in the naxalite
areas are required to carry various weapons and equipment. This
project is being conducted and completed by- |
Project
- III “To test various explosive
detectors & different technologies for explosive detection
(Specially liquid explosive )” We need to test
various kinds of explosives detectors available in the state and
employing different technologies for explosive detection, in their
ability to detect these explosives. This research has been undertaken and completed
by - Shri. Sanjay Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner, S.I.D. Pune & Addl. Charge Supdt. of Police, S.S.T.S Pune. |
